Episode 4: “Sriracha”
If you’re not a fan of hot sauce, or the TV show How it’s Made, then this maybe isn’t the short for you. On the other hand, if you enjoy well crafted documentaries, and engaging storytelling, you’re in exactly the right place. This week, Matt and I take a look at the short film “Sriracha” by Griffin Hammond. It tells the story of the famous Huy Fong hot sauce, its creator, and its fandom.
Clocking in at 33 minutes, it’s on the longer end of short, but it does exactly what it sets out to do, in as much time as it needs. Matt and I have both practical experience and education in Documentary filmmaking, which makes this the film we’ve been most qualified to talk about.
